No Business Like… (Short) (1958) – Mystery Digest

Rolfe Passer was a real person who was the assistant editor for Mystery Digest when this story was published. There is no explanation as to why it was published under Passer’s name, especially since there were no other Donald Westlake stories in the same issue, but it was, in fact, written by Don. The best guess offered by Lawrence Block is editorial ineptitude. That’s probably the most plausible explanation.
